Job Summary
Diagnose, rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites within the Bristol BS postcode area. Find and repair issues ranging from small pallet trucks to automated trucks, utilizing a company van and fuel card for travel. Maintain accurate records and place orders using IT systems while liaising with customers and internal colleagues. Occasional on-call support is required in addition to a base salary, with shift premiums and door-to-door payment available.
Required Qualifications
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Electrical engineering
- experience in at least one of the following areas: Hydraulics
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- IT literate
- ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills to liaise with our customers and your internal colleagues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role
- A desire to be a Linde brand ambassador
- Full Forklift Driver Licence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners
