Job Summary
Perform onsite troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs for equipment systems within large-scale data centers and technical infrastructure facilities. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace damaged components, and commission newly installed systems to ensure operational readiness. Conduct ESD compliance audits by inspecting grounding systems and documenting findings, while installing upgrades and assisting with customer training on proper equipment usage. Collaborate with the support desk and engineering teams to coordinate service activities, participate in root cause investigations, and provide feedback on equipment performance. Travel between multiple buildings within your assigned regional service area, working Monday through Friday with an 8-hour day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering technology, mechanical systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in equipment maintenance, field service, or technical support roles
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to travel between multiple facilities within an assigned regional service area
