Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Plan and coordinate installation and service of equipment at customer facilities; investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems; install/modify equipment to ensure full functionality; review performance records and provide hands-on troubleshooting and training; inspect malfunctioning products to determine causes and coordinate resolution with Engineering; develop and conduct training on safe operation and demonstrate skills to trainees including team members and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year college or technical school degree, or two to four years of related experience and/or training, is required
- Experience with vacuum and/or atmosphere furnaces is required
- Electrical skills preferred (must be able to read electrical drawings and perform field wiring)
- Experience with database software (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware, VacuProf), internet software, spreadsheet software and PLC programming is preferred
