Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery while performing post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance. Conduct on-site training for customer operators regarding machine function, maintenance, and safety protocols. Accurately log all service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions. Manage a regional travel schedule involving regular overnight stays to support customer sites. Requires a 2-year technical degree or equivalent military experience, with training provided for electromechanical troubleshooting. Full-time, travel-based role with stable, year-round work and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology)
- equivalent military technical experience
- demonstrated experience in the maintenance field
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics
- skilled in using diagnostic tools (gauges, test indicators, force meters)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- capable of working independently
- Must be available for regional travel with regular overnight stays
