Job Summary
Plan and coordinate service assignments for heat treatment equipment across Central IN, OH, and Western MI, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Execute on-site technical assistance to repair faults, perform calibrations, and conduct customer training while adhering to strict safety protocols. Analyze equipment reports to recommend corrective actions, coordinate repairs through central support, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Document job assignments, expense reports, and warranty claims accurately. Function as the first point of contact for customers with existing service contracts, scheduling courtesy visits during open time to advise on potential service needs.
Required Qualifications
- Travel up to 90% of the time
- Extended travel
- Home base centrally located, preferably in the Fort Wayne, IN area
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
