Field Service Engineer II

Job Summary
Install, service, troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and electromechanical equipment at customer sites, serve as an independent product expert on EVG product lines, assist in implementing detailed customer installation plans, train customer personnel on advanced equipment operation and maintenance, provide onsite technical support for equipment and process applications, and train other Field Service Engineers on product lines. Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%; must be able to obtain/hold a valid passport; perform hardware set-up, start-up, warranty and service-contract activities, and maintain thorough equipment logs and documentation. Maintain OSHA and safety compliance and stay current with prescribed training for EVG and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
- Two (2) years of experience or up to four (4) years of experience installing/repairing semiconductor/electronic production equipment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally overnight up to 20%
- Must possess a valid driver's license and, if required, a valid passport
- OSHA and Customer Safety requirements compliance
- Advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills
