Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Waters' product suite including LC, LC/MS, HPLC, and UPLC systems across designated territories in Maharashtra. Establish relationships with external and internal customers to ensure success while delivering system-level training and adhering to quality and safety standards. Manage service inventory, issue daily field service reports, and collaborate with sales to identify future business development opportunities. This territory-based role involves occasional international travel for governance and training activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation
- Must possess a strong customer focus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience with specific customer needs
- Personal sense of integrity
- Effective time management skills
- System level approach to problem solving
- Analytical mindset with a strong drive to resolve open issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to travel within designated territory
- Must be able to travel to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biology, engineering or other science related field
- preference for previous Waters product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
- Understanding of the scientific application workflow along with the scientific software systems (CDS, SDMS, LIM, ELN)
