Job Summary

Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed. Provide consistent on-going support to customers through technical phone support, product installation, and field service. Oversee proper crating and uncrating of C-Arm equipment and deliver demo and clinical support at trade shows. Report observed deviations from quality standards, customer complaints, and service delays to the Regional Service Manager while maintaining all necessary paperwork, vendor credentialing, and training records. This role requires interstate and domestic air travel, including moment's notice trips, with a majority of work performed off-site at customer facilities. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and adhere to all safety standards and SOPs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or at minimum an associate degree in Biomedical, electronics or related technical degree
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer with medical digital imaging systems and general fluoroscopy equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of digital and analog circuitry, medical digital imaging systems, and general fluoroscopy
  • General computer knowledge to include DOS, Microsoft Windows, Unix or Linux
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver's license and meet company insurability guidelines
  • Must be willing to travel on a moment's notice, domestic and international
  • Must be able to successfully multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with a willingness to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Must have effective communication skills
  • Must observe and follow all safety standards
  • Must follow all SOP's and Work Instructions per policy
  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary
  • Must adhere to all customer vendor credentialing requirements when visiting healthcare facilities
  • Must be able to travel by interstate and domestic travel by airplane
  • Must be able to live in the local hiring area
