Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and service of hospital medical imaging equipment in the Kanazawa area. Will collaborate with sales to contribute to service-led growth, maintain customer satisfaction, and support healthcare services at medical facilities. Requires ability to communicate clearly with customers, read and follow manuals, perform accurate inspections and repairs, escalate issues when needed, and propose improvements. Japanese market experience with clinical knowledge and the ability to work with clinical staff is implied; English ability is a preferred qualification. Relocation not provided; position is based in Kanazawa, Japan, with a focus on hands-on field service in a hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical/Mechanical field service experience of 1-2 years
- Ability to clearly explain issues to customers
- Ability to propose and implement operational improvements
- Ability to read manuals and perform inspections and repairs accurately
- Ability to escalate on-site issues to resolve problems
- Ordinary driving license
