Job Summary
Follow all safety policies and procedures on internal and customer sites. Install, maintain, repair, and commission power delivery equipment, control systems, and generators while supporting planned and unplanned outages. Collaborate with field engineers and leadership to execute projects efficiently and build relationships that drive repeat business. Requires 9+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, or maintenance, with specific expertise in switchgear, MCCs, protective relays, and PLCs. Willingness to travel up to 60% is required. This role supports critical power infrastructure operations for a leading energy technology firm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Power panels and motor control centers (MCCs)
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Generators and transformers
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Electromechanical equipment
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Protective relays (testing and installation)
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: PLCs and DCS systems
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Testing equipment and instrumentation
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%
