Job Summary
Install, configure, validate, and commission bioMérieux diagnostic systems while performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues during field visits and remote interventions, delivering on-site and remote technical support to maximize system uptime and customer satisfaction. Plan and prioritize field service activities, document all interventions per company procedures, and provide professional guidance to customers regarding equipment and systems. Support the deployment of MYLA, MAESTRIA, LAB ANALYTICS, CLARION, and VILINK connectivity solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between instruments and Laboratory Information Systems. Deliver customer training, manage spare parts and tools, and contribute to business growth initiatives by promoting service contracts. This field-based role requires extensive travel across Cairo, Alexandria, and Upper Egypt, with a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline and 3–5 years of field service experience. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of field service experience
- ideally within IT networking, IVD, or medical device environments
- strong understanding of laboratory workflows and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- experience with middleware solutions and system integrations
- solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN environments
- skilled in troubleshooting system connectivity, interfaces, and Windows-based environments
- fluent in Arabic
- excellent command of English
- willing to travel extensively across Egypt

Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or HL7/integration certifications
