Job Summary
Installation, service, troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic and electromechanical equipment, site service, and field process applications; act as an independent product expert on EVG product lines; implement detailed, complex customer installation plans for reliability and process qualification with sign-off; train customer personnel on advanced equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and process-related operations; provide onsite technical support for development and implementation of equipment and process applications; train customers and other Field Service Engineers on specific product lines; travel domestically and internationally up to 75% with a valid passport; requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field and advanced troubleshooting and quality-control methods; strong communication and documentation skills are essential, along with the ability to perform start-up, warranty, paid service, and service contract activities and to manage hardware setup and field activities.
Required Qualifications
- associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
- advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills
- knowledge of statistical process control
- knowledge of quality improvement process methods and terminology
- ability to identify and solve advanced process-related system problems
- effective communication with management, personnel, and customers
- advanced PC skills
- must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% and possess a valid passport
