Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery while performing post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance. Conduct on-site training for customer operators regarding machine function, maintenance, and safety, then accurately log all service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions. Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites across the area. This hands-on role requires a technician with a 2-year technical degree or equivalent military experience, proficiency in reading schematics, and skills in troubleshooting industrial equipment. We provide comprehensive training to master our systems, with clear paths to advance into senior technician, lead, or specialist roles.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology)
- equivalent military technical experience
- demonstrated experience in the maintenance field
- Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics
- skilled in using diagnostic tools (gauges, test indicators, force meters)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- capable of working independently
- Must be available for regional travel with regular overnight stays
