Job Summary
Field Service Engineer, Digital Pathology responsible for end-to-end field service support including installation, repairs, preventative maintenance, and instrument qualifications. Will manage service calls, parts inventory, and customer relationships, provide on-site product installation and training, generate written service activity reports, and collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of field service experience; familiarity with Digital Pathology/Anatomical Pathology instrumentation, optical/instrumentation, networking instrumentation, and Laboratory Information Systems preferred. Strong troubleshooting, schematics and wiring diagram interpretation skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a global team context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of field service experience
- Familiarity with Digital Pathology/Anatomical Pathology Instrumentation preferred
- Strong software skills and computer literacy
- Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings and wiring diagrams
- Customer-oriented with strong communication and documentation skills
