Job Summary
Field Service Engineer based in Spain (Madrid, Valencia, or Barcelona) responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Revvity’s Diagnostics and Life Sciences instruments across the Spanish territory. You’ll execute preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, manage escalations with European technical support, and provide on-site training. Collaboration with Sales, Applications, and European Service teams drives customer satisfaction, instrument uptime, and growth. Requires a technical degree (CFGS/FP Superior or University) and a minimum of 5 years in field service, with hands-on experience on analytical/clinical instrumentation; strong electronics background; fluent Spanish and English; willingness to travel ~50% within Spain. The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to Quality Management System and safety standards, spare-parts management, and alignment with KPIs. The position is based in Madrid, Valencia, or Barcelona with 50% travel across Spain.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree: Advanced Vocational Training (CFGS/FP Superior) or University degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in field service engineering
- Hands-on experience with analytical/clinical instrumentation in laboratory environments
- Experience with immunoassay platforms, LC/MS, DNA extractors, plate readers, imaging systems, liquid handling (preferred)
- Strong electronics background
- Fluent Spanish and strong English skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 50% throughout Spain
