Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Hamilton robotic instrumentation at customer sites across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Perform preventative maintenance, conduct root cause analysis on instrument failures, and execute new equipment installations while navigating the region safely with a valid driver's license. Report problems and train non-technical personnel on technical systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, experience in automation and life sciences, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. Candidates must maintain a clean motor vehicle history and possess reliable transportation for equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working in the field as well as corporate setting
- Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material
- Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals
- Ability to learn new robotic operating systems
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License
- Must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check
- Must have personal, reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance that can safely transport necessary equipment
- A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited, not-for-profit university
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems
- Experience in automation or similar field
- Being fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs
- Regular commute to and from customer sites with ability to navigate within the region
- Must follow traffic laws and correctly route themselves, ensuring on-time arrival at customer site
