Job Summary
Install, start up, and test Delkor equipment at customer sites while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic programming issues. Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and equipment optimization, then train customer personnel on operation and maintenance. Complete service reports, documentation, and follow-up, and support equipment checkout, PLC/HMI updates, and FATs as needed. Work 70% of the time at customer facilities, 20% on the production floor, and 10% in the office. Requires a valid driver's license, passport, and ability to travel frequently on short notice. Salary ranges from $35.00 to $45.00/hour, with potential sign-on bonuses for higher levels.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Automated Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
- 2+ years as a Field Service Engineer I or 3+ years relevant field experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, PanelView Plus HMIs, and reading schematics
- Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice
- Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills
- Regular lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in production environments
- 70% travel to customer facilities (industrial production environment)
- 20% work on Delkor's production floor
- 10% office-based work and documentation
- Valid driver's license and passport with no travel restrictions
