Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for field installation, commissioning, and warranty activities for units. Generate field-oriented procedures, nonconformance reports, and field completion reports; collaborate with design project teams, production, QC, vendors, customers, customer contractors, and subcontractors. Review commissioning and warranty paperwork prior to submittal; perform field checks, resolve field issues with customers and engineering, verify contractors follow Dearing standards, and represent Dearing in onsite construction meetings. Prepare detailed unit/project documentation, create field procedures for installation/pre-commissioning/commissioning, and write job plans/scopes for field work. Assist in quoting and scheduling billable projects, participate in field-related meetings and tests, and maintain customer/contractor/vendor relationships. Requires a BS in Engineering and 3-5 years of field experience; ability to travel as needed; drug testing requirement. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
- three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years experience of field work
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Work in a team based environment
