Job Summary
Independently handle troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair for Beckman Coulter equipment while providing technical training to customers and newer engineers. Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times using business systems like OBI and Salesforce. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements and develop positive business relationships. This fully remote position requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel within a 60-minute radius of Daytona, and physical capability to lift 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks. Candidates need an associate's degree or equivalent experience in diagnosing mechanical and electronic equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree, Military experience, or equivalent experience
- 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation
- Current valid driver's license and good driving record over the last three years
- Ability to travel (providing service in an assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas/overnight)
- Ability to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, have good hand, and finger dexterity
- Must reside within 60 minutes of Daytona
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and/or service repair
- Developing positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, leading to increased customer satisfaction, and supporting long-term retention
- Technical college major such as biomed, engineering, or related
