Job Summary
Install, configure, and commission computer and display systems, including Direct View LED video walls and large-format projection environments. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults across display systems, troubleshoot signal integrity and connectivity issues, and guide customers through troubleshooting steps. Oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and hardware configuration of in-house systems while managing tools, spares inventory, and documentation. Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time for installs and service calls, operating with minimal supervision to build trusted relationships with customers at assigned sites. Contribute to installation, maintenance, and training documentation while assisting in developing customer training programs and mentoring junior peers.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting complex display or AV systems
- independent management of customer relationships in the field
- Associate's degree in electronics, digital systems, or equivalent experience
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to domestic and international destinations, sometimes on short notice
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Desired Qualifications
- relevant certifications (CTS, NovaStar, Crestron, etc.)
- Formal training in computer systems and peripherals operation, maintenance, and repair
- Direct experience with Direct View LED systems and video signal routing and processing
- prior experience with manufacturer-proprietary display control or image processing systems
- Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals as applied to AV/display control systems
