Job Summary
Field Service Engineer role located in the Greater Columbus, OH area with a home-based setup and regional travel. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues, and build trusted relationships with customers while promoting service agreements and newer technology solutions. The position requires willingness to travel within the territory (occasional overnight travel) and offers a comprehensive benefits package, onboarding and advanced technical training, and opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate has up to two years of technical/field service experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will support customers throughout the Columbus region with most work conducted during the day and limited overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel
- Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience
- Basic computer and technical proficiency (email, mobile applications, Microsoft Word)
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle
