Job Summary
Follow all safety policies and procedures on internal and customer sites while installing, maintaining, repairing, and commissioning power delivery, control systems, and outages. Support planned and unplanned outages as needed and work closely with field engineers and leadership to execute projects efficiently. Build strong relationships with teammates and customers to deliver high-level service that drives repeat business and referrals. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance, with the ability to travel up to 70%.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance
- Formal education (can be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis)
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Power panels and motor control centers (MCCs)
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Generators and transformers
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Electromechanical equipment
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Protective relays (testing and installation)
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: PLCs and DCS systems
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Experience working with electrical systems such as: Testing equipment and instrumentation
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%
