Job Summary
Conduct daily service, repair, and installation of customer equipment including electrical and mechanical testing per maintenance contracts. Perform basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and spare parts inventory management to ensure resolution and accurate follow-up. Maintain regular communication with customers utilizing documented processes and root cause analysis to drive satisfaction. Drive service business growth through sales actions for service agreements, parts, upgrades, and equipment leads. Travel up to 35% of the time, including overnight trips, to cover calls in the New England territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Relevant degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other STEM field
- Equivalent military training
- Associate's degree with 2+ years' experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
- Ability to travel 35% of the time, overnight, within territory or locations
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
