Job Summary
Plan, develop, and implement business process improvement programs while designing, configuring, and testing new and existing system applications. Analyze user requirements, document business processes, and assist in resolving application problems across functional business areas. Maintain system data integrity, develop training materials, and prepare status reports on process improvements and encountered issues. This six-month salaried temporary assignment is based on-site in El Centro, California, for local Imperial Valley candidates only. The role supports software application upgrades, patching, and batch job scheduling within a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer information systems, computer science or related degree
- One year experience working with a specific business unit and an enterprise system application process or other enterprise resource planning application package system
- Preferably in electrical engineering experience
- Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required
- A valid driver license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles
- Configuring and supporting applications

- Present to inter-department level groups and communicate technical issues

- work cooperatively and courteously in a team environment with employees, vendors, manufacturer representatives, and public and private agency representatives
- work with mathematical/ accounting concepts such as accounting principles, probability, discreet mathematics, and fundamentals of statistics

- work flexible hours and available for on call production support
