Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, leading startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems, and collaboration with automation engineers to test and validate systems at customer sites. Travel-heavy role with rotating schedules (5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off) and no fixed office location. Role involves supporting data center startups, coordinating with system integrators and manufacturers, providing clear communication to customers and project teams, and maintaining safety and quality during hands-on field work. Requires basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking, strong problem-solving and communication skills, willingness to travel, and a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years).
