Job Summary
On-site field service role supporting automation projects: perform mechanical, electrical, and control checks, lead startup and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems, and partner with automation and controls engineers to test and validate systems on-site. You’ll travel on structured rotations (5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off) across North America, working directly with customers to keep projects moving, with clear communications to customers and project teams. The role emphasizes travel, hands-on problem-solving, and building a career in automation engineering, with paid training and growth opportunities. This position requires a technical foundation in electrical systems and programming, adaptability to changing plans, and a willingness to work away from home while supporting diverse customer environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering
- technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- ability to travel and be away from home on rotation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- experience with electrical systems, programming, and networking
