Job Summary
Travel-focused Field Service Engineer to support data center startups and automation projects. Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems; perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks; partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site; provide clear communication to customers and project teams; typical travel rotations and working away from home with no fixed office reporting. Requires working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to relocate or travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering or related field
- technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must live within 50 miles of a major airport
- Valid vehicle? (personal) within 45 days of employment
- Ability to travel frequently for field deployments
