Job Summary
Field Service Engineer for the Automation Industry responsible for on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks during data center startups; lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems; collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site; communicate progress to customers and project teams while traveling across North America with rotating schedules; no office-based duties, with emphasis on customer-facing field work and hands-on problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel as part of rotation (e.g., 5 on - 2 off, 10 on - 4 off, 14 on - 7 off)
- Live within commuting distance of a major airport or relocation may be involved
