Field Service Engineer - Automation Industry

Field Service Engineer at ProAutomated focused on automation projects across North America with travel-focused, on-site responsibilities. You’ll support data center startups by performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control validations; lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems; collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site; maintain clear communication with customers and project teams. The role includes rotations such as 5 on 2 off, 10 on 4 off, or 14 on 7 off, and requires a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience, knowledge of electrical systems, programming, networking, and a willingness to travel away from home. You’ll work without a fixed office, reporting to customers directly across North America, and you must live within 50 miles of a major airport with a personal vehicle for local projects; authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
