Job Summary
Handle troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs for Beckman Coulter Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments while delivering training to customers. Maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times using business systems like OBI and Salesforce. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet requirements and help train newer Field Service Engineers. This role requires 80% travel, overnight trips, and a valid driver's license. Based in Atlanta, GA, this fully remote position reports to the Field Service Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 1+ years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation
- Ability to travel 80%
- Overnight travel
- Travel within territory or locations
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb
- Ability to move equipment
- Ability to carry equipment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and/or service repair
- Developing positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Leading to increased customer satisfaction
- Supporting long-term retention
- Technical college major such as biomed, engineering, or related
