Job Summary
ASML is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and improve complex semiconductor equipment on-site in Eagan, MN. You will analyze diagnostic data, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, plan service activities, and collaborate with customers to troubleshoot technical problems. The role includes training customer staff, mentoring less experienced engineers, and sharing knowledge to support continuous product performance. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering (or related field) and at least 2 years in the semiconductor/high-tech equipment space are required, along with experience in data analysis and standard software. The position is on-site with up to 25% travel domestically and internationally; candidates must be work-authorized in the United States and able to access controlled technology. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry
- Experience with data analysis tools and standard business software (spreadsheets, presentations, documentation tools)
- Familiarity with electromechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance processes
