Field Service Engineer

Job Summary
Field Service Engineer with ARxIUM in the pharmacy-automation space. Responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of ARxIUM systems at customer facilities; perform software/hardware preventive and corrective maintenance; verify PLC coding; coordinate downtime for maintenance; complete paperwork and reports; respond to escalations; travel to customer sites and sometimes work outside normal hours. Requires a technical diploma/degree, 7+ years of field service with customer interaction, and PLC/automation expertise. Strong customer communication skills and ability to work with facilities to minimize downtime. Office locations include Winnipeg (Canada) and Chicago area (USA); remote work is supported in cities across North America and Europe, with travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, computer, biomedical)
- 3-5 years experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Conveyor and Automation experience
- Engineering and Electrical experience
- 7+ years of direct field service experience
- 7+ years of experience working in a service capacity with direct customer interaction
- Travel willingness and ability to service customer facilities
