Job Summary
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electromechanical laboratory instrumentation; diagnose and repair equipment; travel to customer sites up to 80%; manage service scheduling and parts inventory; build trusted customer relationships; interact with internal teams (technical support, Manufacturing, Sales); prepare periodic management reports including customer complaints, trend analyses, and improvement suggestions; represent Epredia professionally in all customer dealings; participate in in-house training and product support activities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of field service experience preferred
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other scientific/technical field preferred
- Ability to travel up to 80% to customer sites, including overnight travel
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and mechanical instrumentation in laboratory/medical/device/diagnostic environments
- Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation (schematics, drawings)
- Valid driver’s license required
