Job Summary
Provide installation supervision, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment at customer sites throughout the Arizona area. Prepare technical reports and test sheets while monitoring spare parts, tools, and consumables. Maintain and follow all safety regulations for the company and specific sites, attend site meetings, and interface with Project Management and site personnel. Deliver excellent customer service by listening to client needs and escalating issues for resolution, while communicating regularly with Project Managers to relay information. Proactively eliminate waste and add value to processes, adhering to company policies and rules. This role supports Anord Mardix's global leadership in critical power infrastructure for industries ranging from financial institutions to data centers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or related field
- 5+ years of similar work experience in a related field
- Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems
- Demonstrated experience working with power monitoring systems
- Demonstrated experience with AC/DC electrical power
- Demonstrated experience with the use of communication protocols
- Three to five years' experience in the design of low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and/or power distribution equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of UL Standards, such as UL67 Panelboards, UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL10008S Static Transfer Switches, UL60950 Information Technology Equipment, UL 891 Switchboards, UL 1558 Metal‐Enclosed Low‐Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear as applicable
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Ability to use test equipment, to include multimeters, current meters, and related devices
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
