Job Summary
Provide on-site field service and commissioning for power electronics systems; perform site surveys, power quality testing, failure analysis, and root cause studies; train customers on operation and maintenance; assist engineering, manufacturing, and sales with product development and documentation updates; monitor and predict field service issues using DAS and remote monitoring; travel worldwide up to 50% to customer sites; generate and distribute service reports, maintain inventory, and schedule maintenance and startup activities; require electrical engineering background, knowledge of NEC/IEEE standards, schematics reading, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 5-7 years' experience in electrical power, electronics environment, and communication systems
- Medium voltage safety training required or must be completed prior to field assignments
- Ability to read schematics
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Ability to work both in teams and independently
