Job Summary
Field Service Engineer role focusing on Planned Preventative Maintenance for environmental protection equipment. Audit sites to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, promote safety, perform on-site problem solving, assist in delivery and servicing of interceptor systems, prepare scope of works, risk assessments and method statements, operate company vehicles, prepare estimates and proposals following site surveys, and complete all paperwork for depot/group management. Requires knowledge of single and three-phase motors, interceptor/separator systems, electrical control panels, sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, RAMS documentation, a strong engineering background, flexibility for travel and changing environments, and a valid UK driving licence. Desirable to hold 18th edition wiring regulations and electrical/mechanical competencies; commitment to equality and inclusion. Right to Work in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of single and three-phase motors
- Knowledge of separator/interceptor systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical control panels
- Knowledge of Sewage Treatment plants and pumping stations
- RAMS documentation
- sound engineering knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- 18th Edition wiring regulations – BS7671 (Desirable)
- Electrical or mechanical competencies – Level 2/3/NVQ or equivalent (Desirable)
- Willingness to undertake additional training as required
