Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibrations and verifications of PET/CT system specifications, while assessing and maintaining test equipment. Troubleshoot diagnostic imaging equipment, resolve problems analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure environments. Accurately document all service activities and submit field service reports according to company quality standards. Manage company assets and coordinate services with account managers. Travel frequently to various sites within a four-hour radius, occasionally flying for overnight stays, to service technical needs of customers while adhering to formal training requirements from OEMs like Philips, GE, or Siemens.
Required Qualifications
- Must have formal training and field experience in PET or CT
- High School Diploma or GED
- US Citizen / Green Card holder
- Recent Field Service Engineer experience
- Recent experience in the required modality
- Factory or formally trained by PHILIPS, GE, or SIEMENS ONLY
- Must provide trained certificate from any of the OEM (Philips/GE/Siemens)
- US citizens only
- Must have an active state license
- Must be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive, customer environments
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions/direction
- Ability to work well with others

- Must be willing to travel and drive distances to get to a variety of sites within a 4 hour radius
- Some travel and assignments will require flying and overnight stays
- Primarily Monday thru Friday normal business hours occasional evening and weekends
