Job Summary
Field Service Engineer 3 responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of Onto Innovation products including inspection tools; respond to down-tool situations and perform scheduled maintenance within the SEA region; support hardware, software, PCs, networking, and related technologies; act as primary technical/administrative liaison with customers for assigned projects; provide feedback to Sales on potential leads and customer needs; contribute to continuous product improvement through service feedback and issue reporting; travel up to 50% in the SEA region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or related fields
- 2 to 3 years of Field Service experience in the semiconductor industry preferred
- Hands-on experience with equipment fault detection, including electrical, mechanical, and software troubleshooting
- Experience in semiconductor applications preferred
- Ability to work independently while being effective within a team structure
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent customer communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
