Job Summary
Field Service Engineer 3 responsible for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Onto Innovation metrology and inspection tools across Europe, with a focus on delivering engineering and applications tasks. Located preferably in Dresden, Germany, with travel across Europe (~40%). Duties include installing new tools within the European region, responding to down-tool situations, providing documentation to the US factory, offering feedback to sales for potential leads, and contributing to product improvement through applications feedback. Requires ability to work both independently and within a team, strong interpersonal and customer communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Required Qualifications
- College/University degree or several years of professional experience in engineering / E&I
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time
- Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
