Job Summary
Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site automotive diagnostic/repair support, territory management, and dealer engagement. Provides third-level on-site support, coordinates with GM teams, reviews PI bulletins, trains dealership staff, and drives improvements to reduce repurchases and warranty costs. Requires living in or relocating to Andover, MA area, willingness to travel regularly, and relocation benefits may apply.
Required Qualifications
- 100% USA Geographic mobility is a requirement
- Extensive hands-on Automotive Dealership Service Department or equivalent vehicle diagnostic and repair experience
- State Automotive Technician Certifications as required by state/local law
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to manage and close dispatch cases
- Ability to build customer relationships with dealership management
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- History of maintaining customer satisfaction in a multi-location territory
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Self-motivation and proactive approach
- Willingness to travel frequently (50%+)
