Job Summary
Field Service Engineer 2 position at Onto Innovation for the Tainan site. Provides on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex semiconductor metrology equipment; serves as the customer liaison on technical matters for assigned projects; conducts installation, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive maintenance; maintains an installation equipment base and communicates with customers through meetings and ongoing updates; requires strong problem-solving within defined procedures, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience along with a bachelor’s degree. Travel to customer sites and coordination with the Site Service manager are implied responsibilities; role supports a global sales and service organization with a focus on supporting yield, device performance, quality, and reliability issues across semiconductor processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in field service or equivalent roles
