Field Service Engineer 2

Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services for Lam’s complex electro-mechanical and electronic semiconductor equipment at customer sites. Perform analytical problem-solving and diagnostics, isolate issues to the component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime. Stay current on Lam products through training and certification; maintain records coordinating activities between Lam and customers; act as a subject matter expert representing Lam and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Communicate opportunities and challenges with customers to build trust and update them on tool status. Role supports hybrid work models (on-site and remote) with travel domestically and internationally, and requires the ability to work in a clean room and wear PPE. A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field (with 2+ years of experience) or an advanced degree is preferred; basic computer skills and knowledge of office software are beneficial.
