Field Service Diesel Technician

Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on generators and components at customer sites using specialized tools and documented procedures. Diagnose issues, prepare parts, and complete complex repairs while engaging customers in a professional manner. Escalate unresolved problems to supervisors and coach apprentices or junior technicians on repair plans and parts lists. Maintain service vehicles and tools for proper operation, ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies, and report incidents to management. Complete required documentation including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business systems.
