Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Clear, valid driver's license
• •Authorized to work in the United States
• •High school diploma
• •Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in automotive/diesel services
• •Must be able to perform duties on shifts throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day
• •Must be available for emergency callout including holidays and weekends or work call outs
• •Must pass pre-employment screening (Substance screening and background check)
• •Must pass Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR) and/or DOT Compliance screenings
• •Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
• •Must be able to bend
• •Must be able to twist
• •Must be able to squat
• •Must be able to work in the heat
• •Must be able to work in the cold (non-climate controlled) setting
• •Must be able to read technical manuals
• •Must be able to write reports
• •Must be able to provide support to the crews in the field
• •Must be able to provide preventative maintenance training to the field staff
• •Must be able to prioritize work orders/repairs according to importance
• •Must be able to maintain all safety aspects of the job
• •Must be able to ensure mechanics are compliant with established safety protocol
• •Must be able to maintain proper service records on work completed
• •Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment to improve engine efficiency
• •Must be able to diagnose mechanical problems
• •Must be able to process critical thinking skills to troubleshoot the problem
• •Must be able to derive a solution
• •Must be able to maintain and navigate systems of records receipt and invoice management
• •Must be able to facilitate accurate and timely expense reporting
• •Must be able to consult with field employees
• •Must be able to determine the work required before beginning repairs
• •Must be able to maintain mobility and travel to provide necessary preventative maintenance and services to the fleet
• •Must be able to service the greater KY, TN, GA areas
• •Must be able to obtain CDL B permit and perform the assignments to satisfy the DOT requirements for CDL B
• •Must be able to prepare and meet timely goals to obtain CDL B permit
• •Must be able to invest in your growth

• •Must be able to obtain CDL B within 90 days through our company provided educational program
• •Must be able to obtain CDL B license
• •Must be able to perform inspections

• •Must be able to service transmissions
• •Must be able to service brake systems
• •Must be able to service electrical systems

• •Must be able to service tractors
• •Must be able to service tree service equipment
• •Must be able to service standard equipment
• •Must be able to diagnose, repair, overhaul large equipment while on the job
• •Must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems

Desired Qualifications

• •CDL A or B
• •Associates degree or certification in diesel technology
