Job Summary
Process customer orders for products, software, installation, training, and service, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy. Enter orders and tasks into the CRM to support service contracts, coordinate with finance, purchasing, and warehouse teams, and communicate delivery timelines to customers. Resolve inquiries and complaints professionally while maintaining accurate data and reports. Assist with quoting, programming software, and scheduling training for field engineers, then invoice for time and expense jobs. Identify opportunities to combine open work for efficiency and escalate issues as needed. This onsite role in West Dundee, IL, supports Renishaw's global leadership in precision technology and manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years of customer service experience
- Prior experience working with technical parts in a sale, service or purchasing environment
- Demonstrate eligibility to use and access ITAR controlled data
- Export logistics knowledge
- Interest in manufacturing technology
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to build rapport with prospective customers/ customers
- Accepts responsibility for quality of work
- Identifies upsell and cross sell opportunities and takes appropriate action when required
