Job Summary
Test and validate automated equipment, including conveyors, sensors, electrical components, and controls, by following checklists and test procedures to confirm proper operation. Troubleshoot basic PLC, HMI, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues while documenting testing results, service activity, and technical findings. Support equipment commissioning and customer requirements, working alongside experienced engineers to learn Fameccanica systems before potentially supporting customer sites. This onsite role in West Chester, OH, involves hands-on technical work with a valid driver's license and passport required, and travel may increase to approximately 70% as skills develop.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or related training in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a similar field
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Interest in PLCs, controls, robotics, automation, or manufacturing equipment
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in automation and field service
- Ability to follow processes, complete documentation, and troubleshoot problems
- Professional, calm, and customer-focused communication style
- Ability to work independently once trained while also being a strong team player
- Work Authorization & Travel Requirements: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
