Field Service Calibration Technician (57260)

Job Summary
Provide calibration services including measurement, temperature, torque, and pressure, while identifying appropriate techniques and maintaining calibration standards. Perform work on assets using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, torque drivers, and pressure gauges within a laboratory setting. Schedule and send out items for calibration or repair when the lab lacks specific capabilities. Fulfill duties safely under working conditions in keeping with company requirements. Work independently to oversee and manage customer calibration needs, requiring the ability to work 40 plus hours per week including overtime. This full-time role at Applied Technical Services, LLC supports clients in manufacturing, aerospace, and defense sectors.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Associates college degree or technical school
- at least two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic experience with calibration and/or measuring instrumentation
- Commercial or Military experience
- Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands including overtime work when needed
- Candidate shall be able to lift 60 pounds
- Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
