Job Summary
Field Service Apprentice based in Leeds joined to become an Industrial Refrigeration Field Service Engineer. Program spans 4 years with shadowing of Qualified Engineers, hands-on experience on tools, development across mechanical and electrical controls, and progression to planned maintenance and on-site service tasks across Yorkshire & Humber, Northeast, Manchester & Scotland Service Branches. Initial focus on learning and development, with eventual exposure to office activities such as quoting and planning, while traveling to various customer sites. Requires full UK driving license and interest in engineering fields.
Required Qualifications
- 3x GCSEs C or above in Maths, English & Science (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving License
- Keen interest in Engineering/Mechanical subjects
- Inquisitive mindset
- Soft skill – be confident in asking questions
- Punctual, motivated & proactive
- Team player
