Job Summary
Install chemical storage, pumping, spray, and delivery systems at asphalt plants while diagnosing and repairing pumps, hoses, valves, filters, and basic electrical components. Deliver PavePro products in totes, drums, or concentrate containers and perform scheduled preventive-maintenance inspections. Maintain accurate work orders, inspection reports, parts records, and customer-service notes while communicating job status and equipment problems to clients. Manage assigned tools, spare parts, service vehicle, and safety equipment. Requires at least two years of mechanical experience, ability to work independently outdoors in varying weather, and approximately 30% travel including overnight assignments. Full-time hourly position with early starts and overtime during paving season.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years mechanical experience with equipment maintenance, pumps, plumbing, automotive repair, agricultural equipment, or manufacturing
- Ability to complete routine mechanical repairs independently
- Provides Own Tools and had ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and common diagnostic equipment
- At least two years of safe driving experience
- Ability to operate a heavy-duty pickup or service truck and tow a utility trailer
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30%, including overnight travel
- Ability to work independently on active industrial sites and follow PPE and site-safety requirements
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work occasionally on elevated industrial platforms, ladders, and catwalks
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, switches, motors, or 12-volt controls is preferred
- CDL license is preferred but Not Required
