Job Summary
Manage key accounts and drive business development across industries including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, mining, and industrial manufacturing in Victoria. Provide expert service support during shutdowns or peak periods, perform high-level calibrations, preventative maintenance, and repairs in-house and in the field, and resolve first-line customer queries. Engage with QA managers and team leaders to promote total cost-effective calibration solutions, manage the CRM pipeline to exceed regional targets, and assist with pricing and quoting. Report personal accidents immediately, complete risk assessments and toolbox meetings, and maintain 70% utilization on account management activities. This hybrid role requires a technical background in instrumentation or engineering to win back lost accounts and grow the Field Service Calibration business.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience within instrumentation, engineering, manufacturing or service industries
- Understanding of technical specifications, production cycles, and the critical nature of precision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to stick to agreed deadlines
- Flexibility and a team based approach to tackling workload day-to-day
- Ability to work autonomously on a day to day basis and manage time effectively
- Open mind and can do solution focused attitude
- Professional presentation and approach to the job, colleagues and clients
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Dedication to building long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders
